DIN Rivet is very similar to bolt in structure and it also consist of 3 parts – head, body and tail. A round circular shaped Head, long and cylindrical in shaped Body, and tail that it can be easily bucked in or upset. Din Rivet fastener are used to create permanent joints. A DIN Rivet is punched in into the hole and the tail protruding from other end is hammered so that its expands 1.5 times its original size and transforms into secondary head, thereby forming a permanent joint.
